Aimed at getting beginners off and running in their chosen instrument whether it be bass guitar, or guitar.
I teach electric or acoustic guitar in a variety of styles such as ballad & folk, blues, rock and metal.
Being an experienced live bass player, I can teach the styles and techniques required to get playing live in a band. Bass styles include blues, rock, metal & funk.
Basic to intermediate theory can be taught as well as what it takes to form a band - such as playing with others, band gear, gigging, performing live etc.
I have played bass live in bands since 17 and done various recordings so can get you going and get you gigging if this is your goal! If you are starting at square one and you have NO experience - this is fine as I will cater for this by teaching the essential basics first.
Above all, I will teach what YOU want to learn or NEED to know ...and NO instrument needed for lessons! I supply bass/guitar for the student whilst at lesson.
